Elon Musk is turning on satellite internet as the United States relaxes its sanctions to support Iranian protesters

Elon Musk, the CEO of spaceX, has stated that his company's Starlink satellite internet service would be activated in Iran after U.S

officials loosened sanctions to give protesting Iranians more internet access.

As nationwide protests have erupted over the murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in the custody of the police

the Iranian government has shut off internet access for a large portion of the country

Amini was detained because, according to her relatives, her headscarf was "too loose

She allegedly passed away from a heart attack, however according to her family

she had no heart issues and was instead severely assaulted by the "morality" police.

As many women have cut their hair and burnt their hijabs in public to protest Iran's oppressive rules and what happened to Amin

more than a dozen protesters have subsequently been slain by police on the streets.
